Have only had the Cleanova W15 for a few days, but in that short time we’ve been very impressed with the unit and the results that it delivers. It arrived very well packaged (three layers of boxes) and upon opening it was apparent that the build quality is both substantial and aesthetically pleasing. Unit was set up according to the concise user manual and was a simple process that shouldn’t cause problems for anyone. The i-Phone App was downloaded via the QR code link, which also registered the Cleanova for its excellent two year warranty, this also being a hassle-free process as was connecting the unit to our Wi-Fi, the connection being both solid and reliable.
Upon first use the W15 very efficiently mapped our kitchen and hallway, both of which have Karndean flooring and are subject to heavy traffic from our “several” pedigree cats which shed hair and also leave litter trails (this being the primary reason for purchasing a robot vacuum). After mapping the desired areas, all of which are identifiable on the App with amazing detail/clarity, the Cleanova proceeded to vacuum the kitchen and hallway, the results of which were outstanding. The robot vacuum efficiently navigated around the rooms and did a superb job in removing all the bits of dry litter, including all of the tiny dust-like particles and the “invisible” cat hairs from both rooms which both looked as good as if we had done the hoovering ourselves! The impressive part of the tech is that it efficiently cleans along skirtings, well into corners and recessed doorways etc there being no need for us to go around with a traditional vacuum after the W15 had finished. The noise output from this cleaner is low, despite all the hard/noise-reflective surfaces in our property, and is in our opinion not at all intrusive.
The Cleanova returned to its docking station and emptied itself into the docking bin following which it recharged without any input from ourselves…… all very clever tech. The unit can be controlled via the simple yet intuitive mobile phone app or by the tv-style remote control which is also included.
Having now used the Cleanova W15 for a few days we can only conclude that it was an excellent purchase that consistently delivers superb results and reduces our workload quite significantly as we are able to carry out other tasks whilst the hoovering is being done for us. Our only regret is that we did not purchase a Cleanova much sooner than we did ………… accordingly we can highly recommend this unit.
